This made me smile. Think I'll send it to my friend, a seminary teacher.

I watched the AlphaBetaGamer playthrough of "96" this morning. I usually scrob through playthrough vids, especially when they're long...but I found myself absorbed in Niles' story for the full one-and-a-half hours. While I could tell the dialogue was done by non-Native English speakers, the STORYTELLING was ABSOLUTELY COMPELLING and the feelings did not get lost in translation.
For me, think the nuanced opinion/portrayal of Niles really lands; he's sympathetic but, like Elise, I wouldn't necessarily call him my friend.
Not to mention the soundtrack was spot-on and the aesthetic was A++.
SILENT HILL 2 is famous for being a horror game, but a deeper look reminds us that it's always been a tragic love story, and "96" follows this tradition. Well done, y'all.
Hiya, Hofmeier!
I am in love with this game's OST--in particular, its *specific* rendition of the Jelly Roll Morton song. I think it's "The Crave" (in my options it's listed as "Mr. Jelly Lord", but when I listened to it on YouTube, it didn't sound like the right tune at all.).
Is there any way I can get your particular recording of that track? Or can you tell me where I can purchase it? I've heard other renditions (Ennio Morricone's in particular) and they just don't have the same crunchydeliciousstomptastic energy as the one in your game.
Thank you for your time. :)
Super! Are there instructions anywhere on how to get it to run? I downloaded minit.deb, only to have it crash with an error message after the copyright screen; then I tried the linux .zip only to have the "runner" program tell me it doesn't have a program associated with it. (Running Linux Mint 19.3 Cinnamon). Trying now the Windows zip to see if WINE will run it.
(Thanks if anyone replies to this. :)
