Hey, thanks a lot for your comments! It does feel more appropiate to be a minigame, though it currently lacks some extra gameplay I wanted to add later. I really appreciate that you think it's polished too, I try to focus on that aspect!

Thanks a lot for playing the game and for your comments! You should be able to catch any toy since the machine just goes through until the end, but I'll make sure to review that behavior so that it's clear in the future or make the mistakes less punishing (they're not instant loss, which some people seem to have understood). 

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I must point out the art is not mine, but you can find every asset I used in the description of the game.

This is mostly a proof of concept I built for my portfolio, so I currently don't have the intention of making the game longer. That doesn't mean to say I won't add more content in the future, though! I am working on adding details and options to this particular version. Thank you for playing!

Awesome overall game! The sound effects and the pixelart give it a very funny and appealing feel. Got me a couple of tries to get what the game was about, but was pretty clear after that. Gets pretty stressful after a while!

Highest score was 537.

Some sound effects would make this a lot cooler, but the game progression overall feels great!

This is great! The pixelart looks awesome and the idea is cool and absolutely in the spirit of the jam. Took me a little to get the gameplay at first, but then I got it, quite intutitive. In my opinion the gameplay wold be really great if you had had time to make it a little more complex.

I found a bug where if I finish a run and wait until I get the character selection screen, I get the same character 10 times and can't start the game. Hope it helps!

Amazing execution! I love the way you've represented fighting games asymmetric balance & character strategies with the chess pieces and their starting positions. I liked the idea at first but I must say I'm truly amazed at how well the result works.
