Announcing the release of my latest Windows/Browser game. This is an area-claiming game reminiscent of Taito's Qix. It is themed around traveling the entire Route 66 and visiting the 12 cities/towns mentioned in the famous song "Get Your Kicks on Route 66".

I have included a demo that allows you to play only the first 3 levels at https://gameswarp.itch.io/get-your-klix-on-route-66. Alternatively, you can purchase the game and get a file where you can install it on your PC.

Further plans: There will be a few further cosmetic changes planned for the game, like showing the number of points you obtain when enclosing an area, etc. Otherwise, the game is fully playable.
