Hello! Apologies for the bother. I've been loving this game, but I have no idea what to do in this section in the Tower of Trials Area.

In every let's play I've looked up, they just jump out and around to get on the platform above (ex: https://www.youtube.com/clip/Ugkxyzg8jsboFkMcK1UtnPndhcPlhQki2oi) , but I'm never able to get enough momentum in my jumps to do it. I've been trying this over and over for about an hour now, and it's made me pretty frustrated. I really have been loving this game; to me, it's what fan games are all about. Unfortunately, this section and the fact I can't finish the game because of it have soured things for me. I'm not sure if there's anything you can do to help, but it would mean a lot if you did. I know you posted a save file on talkhaus that's basically a 100% save file, but I wanna be able to experience the second half of this level (and on a personal note, would like to 100% it for myself).

Thank you very much for reading, and apologies again for the bother if there's nothing you can do.

i enjoyed this quite a lot! thanks for publishing it :)

Hello!

Apologies for the bother (and the kinda long message). I really enjoyed the game, but I ended up having a glitch happen which really killed my motivation to get a better rank. I was on the timed Disorder minigame and the gun was targeted at the person in the middle (I think it's the sister?). I managed to complete it and consequently save the family member in danger (I already freed both their hands). However, the timer was still going, even as the game was acknowledging I succeeded by letting me save someone. Unfortunately, some issues resulted from this.

(Before I get to those, though, I do want to mention that this led to the rather amusing visual of the shotgun shooting the person in the shadows as they were setting up the TV on the box. There's a silver lining for everything!)

1. This still ended up counting as losing, meaning the person in the middle was considered dead.

2. Because of the animation of the slumped TV head when someone gets shot overlapping with the box stand-in, the middle TV was clipped into the box in a pretty awkward way that made it hard to see. Luckily, I just had to do one round of Hangman for an answer I already knew after this, because I saved one family member (the left one, I'm guessing it's the dad), and the other... well...

3. The game ended up forcing me to pick another member of the family to kill immediately after this. It's conjecture, but I suspect the game just freaked out at the unusual circumstances and tried to smooth it out by treating it like a normal failure. It registered that the person the gun was aimed at was "saved" (even though they apparently weren't) but also that I "failed" (even though I didn't), so it tried to make up for it by having someone else die.

tl;dr Two of the family members died after a minigame I won.

Again, I truly did enjoy this game. It has an addictive quality to it that I could definitely see being expanded upon, and I absolutely don't regret my purchase. However, this combined with some other problems with the Disorder minigame (I've seen in other comments that you're already aware of this, but even in the newest version, there's quite a few words missing; I'm sorry I can't give many specific examples, but I remember there was one time where the singular version of a word was included but not the plural, even though both were correct) sucked out a lot of my enjoyment and introduced elements of unfairness and luck I did not appreciate.

Thank you very much for reading. I hope my comment here ended up being helpful in some way! :D

EDIT: Also, I totally understand you getting rid of the head bobbing, but truth be told, I actually quite liked it! If I may make a suggestion, I'd like to see that mechanic make a return in some kind of "hard mode" later down the line.

this hurts to experience. in a good way, in a way that is raw and real. but it hurts. thank you for it. i'm grateful to experience it, and i am in awe at your strength for sharing. whatever that's worth.
