Hey Saito! The reticle is not designed to move up and down, but rather show the endpoint of the projectile. Due to engine limitations, the scripting involved in determining the angle by tile, or even groups of 4 tiles, on the display for a 2-dimensional reticle would have caused significant frame loss. If the game is iterated on in the future, we would likely be exploring different engines to have better tools to circumvent the issue as well as a couple known audio bugs (including the shield activation sfx cue). Glad you found the experience overall retro!
