Incredibly tight level design. Absolute masterclass. Great concept, solid engine, but you brought it home with your great puzzle design.

Glad you enjoyed! You can download the OST here if you liked the music :)

Incredible production. Music, art, animation, engine are flawless. More of a short movie than a game, though, due to the lack of any challenge to complete the game.

Fantastic. Hmu for music in the future if you'd like! Would love to contribute to such quality work. https://garrettvandenberg.bandcamp.com/album/squidge-ost

The charge up multi hit.

Frustrating! Sorry about that. Thanks for checking our game out, though! Loved your entry :)

Might be due to your screen resolution! Unfortunately, we were having a difficult time getting unity to work for us and it placed the squidge sliders way off screen if your screen resolution is high for some reason. Sorry it wasn't working for you!

Great puzzles. Really had me scratching my head. Very unexpected mechanic that very much made me have to forget all of the usual tools I'd learned for what I expected the puzzles would be like in this sort of game. Very creative.

We partly liked the idea of an aspect of the puzzles being the exploration of the environment--clicking around and seeing what you can do. We originally even had several jokes we were going to include where objects could be clicked but did unexpected or silly things, like a box that you'd otherwise think could be resized but instead can be squidged to become sad.

But I agree that it can be frustrating when the tools to solve the puzzle you're being asked to work on aren't clearly presented. If we were to flesh the concept out more that would definitely be a good area to try to refine further.

🔥🔥🔥🔥😈🔥🔥🔥🔥

We would have liked to get the controls tighter too, but c'est le gamejam. So glad you enjoyed the puzzles! :)

Haha I like the idea! Struggled to figure out how to actually play it, but I had a fun time making a hundred things spawn on the screen.

Beautiful art and fun little idea. Unfortunately the enemies are consistently very close to the same colour as the background, so it's quite difficult to see when you're going to run into something that will cause you to take damage. A red outline or a less busy background would help bring some more contrast and ease of play. :)

Beautiful art and lovely music. What a sad ending though :'(

I like this idea a lot. I keep getting the game frozen right here though.

Says playable on mac but doesn't look like there's a way to play it. Would like to give it a try! :)

I'm not worthy!

Great job. Enjoyed this!
