a full scale zelda game is a lot of work lol

I used GameMaker, all my own code

it can work but you’ll need to format the spritesheets and tilesets to fit the format for rpg maker, it’s designed with Tiled in mind

just kinda eyeballed the gb zelda games lol i use aseprite

I have not run this asset pack on the latest version of GM so something may have changed since I compiled this pack. However, that error seems to show that sprites are missing, so make sure you properly import everything from the pack, or define new sprites for the top and bottom of the character in the Create event of obj_char

Unfortunately not, I made the jump a while ago so while I agree that I prefer gms1, the codebase is built around gms2 fundamentally now

The only menu here is the map  sorry

You can use it however you want when you buy it, credit if you feel like being nice lol

If you buy it, its 100% yours to use with credit no problemo

The video previews a lot of the sprites included, but I'd rather not just post the actual spritesheet given how easy it'd be to rip it from there lol

Hey, for now not quite yet considering I only have the two. I'll probably make a bundle if I end up doing any more though!

Foolproof I'm not so sure, but the easiest way that I know of is to just copy-paste the tiles into one of the existing premade tilesets in whatever image editing software you use. RPG Maker is mainly looking for a certain sized grid of tiles, so you'll need to make sure it fits with whatever that is. I haven't used that engine in a while though, so your mileage may vary!

GM: Studio. I think I can manage an Android port, which I think is appropriate, given the portable nature of GameBoy. Just finished porting one of my other games, so I think it works out.

A great adaptation, feels very faithful to the original's puzzles and game feel.
