Great pixel art, characters, magic, music, secrets, bosses and flow of gameplay.

I had a great time, beat it on Hard in about 4hrs and it brought me back to the days of lovely, cozy Game Boy games that feel good but are no pushover.

The sign of a great game is when you Game Over but want to keep going and this game has a great system for being strategic with your health/items so that you can continue even when it seems all is lost.

Beating the game with my last character on my last hit felt SO good.

Play this game, it's so much fun whether you love Souls or Kart games, but even if you just love one of those, it's a blast!
