hello, you should be holding 'u' for three seconds on the main menu to unlock other champs and armory.

have fun.

it's been a while since I played the game, so if nothing really changed at all (spoiler):

when you get floor 25 for the first time, the boss will kill you instantly, so you need to play the game again.

when you get floor 25 for the second time, now you will be able to fight the boss.

and if you manage to beat the boss, game will ask you whether you want to end the current run or enter the endless mode.

first time getting 50+ floor(56 exactly) in endless mode.

man, phase 7 is no joke. I died from full 101 hp in like 2 rounds.

this is actually quite challenging. I like it.

after countless of failed attempts, I finally managed to get swift killer achievement in hard mode.

hey @roboatino, you should gift me ronin figure or something for this, man :D

there will be question mark icons on the map just like sensei, blacksmith and shrine.

every question mark icon represents one new champ.

if you don't want to spend time for this, press 21st letter on alphabet for three seconds on the main menu. this will unlock other three champs and all armory.

not sure if dev team is checking comments on itch.

their discord might be better option for bug report&feature request.

(I don't have a discord account tho, so cannot really tell this will work but you can give it a try.)

one of my best run and still +9 minutes.

game is in 2d, so the cat might not be directly above us even though it looks like that with 2d perspective.

finally combo master with ronin. spear helps a lot about this.

I also downloaded and played on PC to see if this is about browser&Internet or not, but same thing happened while playing it offline aswell.

I kinda figured it out that this happens after 2:43 minutes. so, if you cannot finish the last boss in 163 seconds, boss will somehow one-shot you regardless of your hp. it is something like time-limit I guess?

anyway, "I'll be waiting, Blademaster."

now, game bugged when I got no hp, so I had to start from beginning again.

well, last boss one-shot me from half hp with one of these floating small blades. not sure if it's bug or not but very fun&exciting game.

I mean shogun slayer and total obliteration is fine, but combo master and swift killer is something else.

my best run in hard mode is 31:28 with shadow. not even close, so I was kinda curious if it's actually possible or not.
