Here's an idea for 1.3: Blobygon's version of The Snackrooms added a sweat toggle, so maybe you should add it too. That, and bring back the hairstyles, clothing options, and room types from the earlier versions.

I have some newcomer ideas inspired by older and newer Smash games (and more):
Daisy (Super Mario)
Koopa Troopa (Super Mario)
Mona (WarioWare)
Zelda (The Legend of Zelda)
Sheik (The Legend of Zelda)
Tetra (The Legend of Zelda)
King Dedede (Kirby)
Bandana Waddle Dee (Kirby)
Knuckle Joe (Kirby)
Bonkers (Kirby)
Sceptile (Pokemon)
Zoroark (Pokemon)
Greninja (Pokemon)
Incineroar (Pokemon)
Sylux (Metroid)
Wolf (Star Fox)
Leon (Star Fox)
Panther (Star Fox)
Ninten (EarthBound/Mother)
Black Shadow (F-Zero)
Roy (Fire Emblem)
Ayumi (Famicom Detective Club)
Amy (Sonic)
Bass (Mega Man)
Akuma (Street Fighter)
Taizo (Dig Dug)
Prince (Katamari Damacy)
Renamon (Digimon)
Cloud (Final Fantasy)
Sephiroth (Final Fantasy)
Risky (Shantae)
Piccolo (Dragon Ball Z)
MX (Mario '85)
Thanks. That helped. The only other thing I should point out involves the music used by specific skins. Sometimes, the loops tend to be broken and thus become imperfect. I have this skin called (2.0) Tweaked Super Mario World Skin, which I would assume would be for the outdated base 2.0 version, since I'm currently using 2.0.6B, like I said. Here's the link to said skin:
I notice that there's a tad of slowdown as well as some flickering shading on the character models, even on OK or below in terms of graphics settings.
Also, there's a lack of nods to specific characters outside of Marie, etc. such as your favorite Mario princess (and mine) and a certain purple-haired Japanese goddess of rock, among others.
Outside of new Charms, I hope the following characters other than Peach and Toad, who I mentioned in a previous comment, get added to future updates:
Daisy: She could have gameply akin to her appearance in Super Mario Run.
Amy: She'd no longer be a costume for Sonic, and she'd have gameplay akin to her appearances in Sonic Origins Plus and Sonic Superstars.
Peppino: Ah, the Pizza Tower protagonist, who would be making the jump from Boll Tower to this game.
Angelo: Did you know that Mike Wiering (founder of Wiering Software) created a game akin to the 8-bit and 16-bit Super Mario games called Super Angelo? I recommend you check out the video by YouTuber, gruz (formerly killgruz), if you haven't.
Maria: Giana's Player 2 sister needs love, too.
Link: Don't think Mario's the only Nintendo mascot to enter the fray. Personally, his moveset would be similar to Zelda II: The Adventure of Link combined with his appearances in Smash 64 and Melee (as well as his Dash Attack in SSB4 and Ultimate based on the iconic OoT Jump Slash).
Samus: Another non-Mario Nintendo character who could use her Beams, Missiles, Morph Ball Bombs, and even suits. The Super Mushroom could giver her the Varia Suit, the Wave Beam, and the Super Missiles, the Feather would give her the Gravity Suit, the Space Jump, the Ice Beam, and the Ice Missiles, and the Fire Flower would give her a combination of the Varia and Gravity Suits, the Charge Beam combined with both the Spazer Beam and the Ice Beam (as well as the Plasma Beam), the Diffusion Missiles combined with the Ice Missiles, the Spider Ball, the Spring Ball, the Screw Attack, the Space Jump, and the Power Bomb.
Nabbit: The only TRUE unlockable character who is unable to use Power-Ups, but more than makes up for it by being unharmed by enemies and most hazards except lava, crushers, and bottomless pits (though if he touches an enemy, his invincible frames merely activate for a much shorter duration than most other characters).
I was hoping that Peach would be added as an unlockable character just by completing the game, no matter if you warp or not, as well as Toad for completing the game without warping in the same way you unlock World 9 in SMBTLL (except without having to repeatedly complete the game over and over again to unlock Worlds A-D).
Also, how do I move the level around in the Level Editor?
According to him, it's close to 90% complete, with him having to refactor two specific locations, one of which features a familiar OC of his who always gets herself into sticky (literally) situations that wind up with Johnny Law catching up to her. ;)
P.S.: I think we can expect a teaser at least later this month close to Thanksgiving. But, I'm not a psychic, nor am I a leaker like that guy who claims an OoT Switch remake will be shadowdropped at TGA 2023...
