I've built a version of tetriz with the joystick support (port 0x01), here's the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yCg6G_MtB0OqbxcYyOr64DfCri1AZej2/view?usp=drive...

the tetriz game (without joystick support) is now available... soon I will be able to send you a version with (kind of) joystick support....

as I am developing a Tetris game for the Jupiter Ace, maybe I can try to add joystick support in it…

If you want, when it’s ready, I could send you a beta version in order to test the joystick support.

wow, interesting! Too bad I have the Minstrel 4th (not the 4D), I have to find a way to work around the missing port…

you ‘re welcome! I hope you enjoy it! 😊

thanks for your interest in the project. I will post some news as soon as I can :-).

Thank you! :-)

than you 😊

hi, thank you for asking.

The issue with joystick is not technical: I could add Kensington support but it will be confusing from a UX point of view.

As the Original Asteroid arcade cabinet had buttons for turning the ship clockwise and counterclockwise, the problems are with angles between 180 (pi) and 360 (2pi) when turning clockwise still is joystick left, and the user can expect otherwise.

That’s why I did not implemented Kensington support for the game.

thanks!

thanks :-)

hi, of course if you like to review one (or more) of the games I made for the ZX Spectrum, feel free to choose the one you like the most (Planet war, Snakez+ or PacMan).

They are all full versions and free of charge.

Do I need to send you an e-mail, to make a contact in case if you have some questions about the game?

the next project is to port Planet War to the jupiter Ace, and it seems quite hard, since we don't have graphics primitives at "high resolution", so the approach must be character-based.

thank you so much! :-)

thank you :-)
