This is a fantastic early concept that sets up a lot of interesting ideas to explore later on concerning the nature of various kinds of love and how different cultures compartmentalize and develop upon them. The prose is dense and charming, occasionally surfacing truly biting lines that will stick with me for quite a while.

The music selections are also rather choice - a score set with period piece aesthetics in mind that playfully articulates the tone from scene to scene.

Very much looking forward to seeing how this FalkeHerr gets iterated upon in the future.

Is there a way to get this working with novel mode?

When you define a novel mode narrator, it doesn't support callback arguments, so sprites don't reset to being un-highlighted when narration hits.

By our definitions, he'd be a trans-male.
Their society doesn't have a lot of the same terms we use when discussing those topics though, so you might get different answers to that question in-universe.
