Glad you enjoyed the game MadMilligan :), thanks for pointing out the bugs, I just implemented some fixes for those bugs. This was an early prototype in which i had sketched out a lot of interesting new content to add to, currently i'm working on another idle game but i might come back to this project in the future!

as you unlock new generators, some generators require gold to buy them

8/18/20: updated screenshots and information, no updates to the actual game until after the game jam is over -> 8/21/20

Thanks for trying out my game!

NOTE: if you switch to a new tab in the same window as this game, the game pauses. BUT, if you open a new window/program to browse the internet, the game continues to run. I'll see what i can do to fix this and update it after the game jam is over and also add offline progress when the tab is closed

Hover over the button to see how much each generator makes

Also, there is a problem where window size is expanded farther than supposed to be so ignore the "Size of step: 2 meters" in the bottom right corner. (This bug is further impacted with higher res (4k display causes the game to be super small->fix is to decrease screen resolution of computer[will be fixed])

UI:  Mario Mutation cost is in gold not DNA as indicated

IDEA

For the 48hr Incremental Game Jam, I(Folly) and Horstusius brainstormed an idea where there's this scientist that wants to perfect their shrink ray invention. To do so, they must power it up by running 10km hamster wheel style. Then using their invention on themselves to experiment. However, by becoming smaller, it takes them longer to run the distance. As they get smaller, it allows them to do special things due to their diminished size.

I intended for the player to always be able to continue to score in 8 moves and not be stuck. Did you find 8 moves to be too generous?
