I just played the Jon route and want to say I enjoyed the story so far. I'm usually not one for kinetic novels but that story was pretty well done. I really like how supportive the sister and best friend are.
I would love for meaningful choices to be a thing after chapter 2 because I feel like the linear way the story is laid out serves well for an introduction to the side characters and the college story going forward.
Male protagonist games aren't really something I look for in adult visual novels but the friend was done well enough that I might redo the story from his perspective.
Going forward will the focus be on Jon's story? I ask that because it seems like it'll be the most interesting. Will there be meaningful choices once the pair make it to college? What girls will Jon meet in college and will any of them be the online friends that were mentioned?

Was the art really replaced with AI? Please tell me the quality art wasn't really replaced with AI slop. That's something I just can't support if true and hopefully this issue is cleared up soon by the dev.
I was wondering in the future could there be a relationship route with a vampire fangirl? I think it would be interesting to have her not only be a source of blood but a relationship whereas the mc is dominant but she still loving.

Personally I'm a bit dissapointed in how the mc's bd was handled. Hopefully that could be changed in the future to make it feel more special like a party or something.

I really like the sound of this spin on a survival game. Personally instead of pvp I'd like for player to team up to survive together if you do add a multi player element.
Animation is very ambitious and as you said time consuming so id recommend focusing on the animations later and spend your time on building up the game.
Id recommend focusing on render quality over animations. While animations are a nice bonus your players will spend the majority of their time looking at the regular renders so they should be at as good a quality as you reasonably can make them.
well I guess if her role is to bring the family together and help the abusers get taken down I can be happy. Non of those people deserve anything good and I hope their fates match all the pain they caused and then some.
Sorry but the phrase "love to hate" means that the character is someone you hate but enjoy them regardless. Elliott is just hated because she's a completely unlikable piece of shit. If something bad were to happen to her people would actually enjoy that. I don't think anyone actually likes her and any interest in her seems to be in seeing how miserable she'll end up at the end of the story.
I hate always online bs in video games. These anti piracy measures only hurt legitimate buyers in the long run. Ex. I play on a tablet that I take places where i dont have reliable internet.
