Hello! Thank you for trying my game! I'm sorry for the confusion, there was a flashlight in the cabinet at the beginning of the house - that would have shown you the "jammed" door you run into at the end is just blocked with removable planks! You're actually only half way done :). Also, I'm afraid your video didn't record your sound, just wanted to let you know <3!

OH you didn’t finish it 😂. The house is only part way. There is a gold goblet on the desk that has a secret! If you check it out, it unlocks the next room and will let you continue the game!! You still have about 20 more minutes of content left 😊

I love any and all feedback, especially if it helps me improve the gameplay experience for future players! I do have a playthrough video at the top right of this page, that I made as part of my college portfolio submission. You can check there as a last resort if you get stuck (but please mention where you get stuck in a comment so I can keep track of it <3).

Hello everyone! My name is Alden, I'm a budding game designer and I just published my newest horror game! Your time is important so here is everything you need to know :)!

I love games and because of that I'm not looking to just 'sell' my content to you (its free or donation), I honestly mainly want to know what you think is fun and why! Your thoughts are what I use to educate myself on this crazy concept called "fun," so this post here is as much to bring attention to my game as it is to say, "HI! I really want to be part of a community of like minded individuals, lets discuss what works and what doesn't work!"

It is a short (about an hour of content) narrative driven, first person horror game, with some elements of survival and exploration. I am self taught, I use unity, and I made this game to demonstrate my skillset to four-year universities that I hope to enroll in next fall. All proceeds I make from your donations are going to help fund my college journey, be that by paying for transcripts, application fees, or who knows! Maybe this game finds a niche that people love?!

thank you very much for playing it! It is indeed rather dark, I didn’t know much about unity’s lighting at the time I made it. Going to be revamping it soon! I also got a brand new horror game I’m about to release that is much better and is actually complete where this one isn’t.

It’s an incomplete game that I originally uploaded to show future game devs that I went from knowing nothing to eventually making a cool game (whenever they happens haha). But the reaction from of all you guys is so sweet, that I’m going to try and finish this game! I also have a brand new horror game I’ve been working on for the past two months that WILL be a finished little game. I’ll be uploading that shortly! Would love to see you guys play it!
