I don't wanna speak for Lags but seems like they're taking a break due to their hand injury.

In my personally opinion they deserve it since they are working on multiple games. And it's Christmas.

The dev uploaded version 0.7 on their patreon. If you really want the game go there and become a member. The game is still actively being updated but it doesn't seem like it will be released to the public.
