Hey thanks.
Maybe I'll have a look around at what the PS5 has been doing lately for UI.
I haven't touched any consoles in along time and maybe should look up more recent stuff.
Maybe I'll come up with some alternative layouts for systems :D
Edit: I would love to call them Select and Start still. However some guys in suits and sunglasses showed up to my house wearing PS logo pins. I'm not allowed to speak of what I was scolded told about until 2076. (I kid :P)
Play Pot▓to Here! (windows currently)
Today Pot▓to, a potato clicking game, launches.
Click to get the highest score you can achieve, and ████████ ███ ███████ ██ ███ potato.
- potato
- simple controls
- boil it, mash it, roast it, steam it, bake it, fry it (click it)
- ███████ ██ ████████
It's a potato.. that you click.. and ████!
If you're talking about the keyboard letters and numbers and icons (like arrow keys). That's all done by myself, but if you look at the Keyboard png or aseprite file you should see the (drawn) letters and numbers below the keyboard layouts in the empty space. Unfortunately I never made it a font file, but it is there.
Thanks for the info, in all honestly 4.0 isn't really what I want. I'll take a look at their site and FAQ in a bit and make a decision, there's a small update coming to this pack I've been working on recently (shhhh don't tell anyone ;) ) but, I'll likely update this and my other one at that time.
But like I said prior, if you're worried right now of it's Copyright Status, just right now don't claim you made it basically. If I go with a Creative Commons, and the closest to what I want is CC0, it'll be that. I absolutely do not want people to have to worry about crediting me if they're working on a project, especially that sometimes people could just forget.
I've been thinking recently to look up the Creative Commons, and although I don't think Creative Commons is legally binding, it is something I considered. Here's for the mean time, what I will 100% let you know.
- Use it as you want for any of your projects
- Feel free to edit, add etc when needed for your project
- You do not have to credit me at all, but you could if you want
- Just don't tell your "friends" you made the pack when you use it
I'm not sure exactly what CC that may fall under, and I'll have to take a look here shortly and see if I can find a good fit. But no worries, and 100% feel free to use it, and you do not have to credit me at all if you do not want. My goal was just to create something to help people themselves create. :D thanks for checking it out
*If I choose to go with a Creative Commons, it would not be one that would be more restrictive than the four points I already laid out
Hi there.
For Start/Back/Select I have them included as the modern version of the buttons. So they're not the standard back and select you'd see on older generation of controllers, although I did include the Xbox 360 variant in the xbox alternative layout (which is apart of the xbox named file or the aseprite file). I have considered updating the layouts to maybe include the older style layouts, especially the playstation section. I did leave a lot of buttons off the keyboard but mostly that's just from missing text I didn't do, you could always use one of the blank keys I provided with your own INS or DEL text.
I appreciate the comment, I will most likely add more buttons/layouts/options in the near future, maybe work on some over the weekend here.
