First of all, best game page among all submissions. The explanations there help a lot. Plus, procedural generated content is one of my interests so good job. Still, the installation process takes a while but if you use processing I suppose embedded HTML is not a choice in the first place. In-game tutorials would be nice though you may need extra work if you were to design a section for that. Also, it does take a few trials to confirm that there is indeed a destination within the maze. The game-over scene may crash the game or you may intend that way. The darkness and instruction mechanics is nice but it's maybe too dark and the whispers are sometimes inaudible, subtitles would be nice. I don't know if granola bars will be of any use because, as you mentioned, the chance of finding the monsters is slim. Meanwhile, the battery is so rare in my case, maybe it's just my luck. Overall, once you adapted to the game mechanics, it's good.

Very interesting gameplay. However, without reading the code, I was questioning the condition in which the object is considered found. Sometimes you have to dig some extra space, sometime you don't have to. But the game is pretty much smooth and all. Sound effects indicate the progress is great. It helps a lot to know that the bomb is not timed but triggered by the digging.
