Hi Cyberwolf! :D
We are glad you could play our game and we are amazed you could finish it in 30 minutes because in our developing tests nobody was able to end up the 5 levels at that time 😅 however, we appreciate your comment and we encourage anyone to try our free demo version before buying the official version of Pompaze.
Stay tuned because we will release Pompaze at a discount in the next months. We are already developing new games to release this year so we hope to count on your collaboration again!
Hi, everybody!
We want to share with you the news that our first game of the year is finally out!
Pompaze is not the typical maze game because you will have to plan your strategies using different power-ups while the lava is taking away your survival options. Inspired by the history of Pompeii, you will have to through mazes before being burned to death.
Thank you for your support. Any comment to improve our games is very welcomed. Check it out through this link:
Hi everyone!
The intention of this topic is to show you our journal-making Pompaze. We hope to give you weekly updates.
We have a lot of "time windows" or layers that we want to work on during the developing process of our game. We want to assign the correct time to work on topics like programming, modeling, texturing, environment art, level design, animation, visual effects, music, and UX/UI. I know, sounds like a lot of work for a two-people team but you know, "this is the life of a game developer". So, we don't have time to think that this is too much for us, so we decided to make a little schedule(divide and conquer) to complete all our goals:
DevLog 06 Feb - 12 Feb
We created the conceptual art for our game to give us the ideas to start working.
We started out adapting Pompaze levels on Unity. We want each maze would be more of a roguelike-style game!
For us, a new day, it's a new functionally to add to our game!
We decide that Pompaze will have 21 mazes. Three mazes for each level. Each maze is created with 3 different maps on Blender: diffuse, roughness, and normal map.
We received the feedback that just walking in the maze is too boring, so we decided to add obstacles, but before that, we programmed the jumping action. Do you think we applied the right force? 😂
*It is supposed not to jump above the maze *
In Pompaze will be Power-ups. Whit these power-ups you will take control of the lava, run faster, and take control of some natural elements. We finish all models for the all power-ups that we need.
Hey guys!
Thank you for downloading Pompaze Demo, Windows version.
In the user testing process, we have taken some notes, for example, people outside our team have expressed that they like the game and would recommend it. For that reason, we want to extend the opportunity for more people to play the game, so today we're launching the Linux version.
Based on the external recommendations, we are improving the game for the commercial version, ... it's coming soon.
Play Pompaze and complete all levels now: https://gamestastic.itch.io/pompaze-demo
Hi guys! We hope you going very well!
We want to invite you to play our game:
You're a Pompeii villager trapped in a maze. Find the exit to survive this horrible situation. You move with WASD keys. Be careful! Each maze is more difficult than the others :S
