It would be unwise for us to set a date.

In our recent blog post I said this.

Comet is a passion project for all of us in Team Comet. Everyone on the team is stealing away time from our busy lives to work on the project. So when life stuff comes up, we encourage each other to take it easy. This might be frustrating to you if you’re reading this and waiting for the game to be done (or if you’re my wife 😅) but it’s what’s kept this project going. 

This project is alive and well, the blogs should show that.
But given the ups and down of the team, it's hard for us to give any dates.

We don't have any plans for a demo at this stage, but I hope you'll follow me for updates.

I actually removed the download for that today as people kept thinking it was the full game 😅

I was proud of what we were able to prove out in pulp but that prototype doesn’t represent Comet anymore :)

Comet-P is the Pulp Prototype for the game.  The PDX should function but it’s not a finished product.

The team pushed hard to reach that internal milestone, then I had my first child, and the rest of the team have had life going on.

Development has for sure continued since the last update. But we've not had time to write it up.

We're soon to move to a woodlands area of the game. So rabbits, deer, bears, raccoons, hedgehogs could all fit the bill.

oh yes I saw that one. But it’s distorted. A sheets of icons for each style would save me a lot of time.

Yea, this would make them much more usable in Playdate's Pulp
