yeah. it was too big to host directly.

Not that I'm aware...??

Unfortunately the desktop app doesn't work for this game. A couple of other people had the same problem as you, so in the install instructions I have included the two links for the game there. I have asked itch.io for more space so I can upload >1GB files.

Hope that helps :)

Yeah, I'm really not sure what is going on there. I added external links for Dropbox and Mediafire because the file was too large for the native itch.io download, however those links don't seem to always work. I asked for some more space but they are yet to respond, so I did it this way instead.  I have included the same links in the install instructions so hopefully you can download it there. Cheers.

Hi, I first released the a prototype of the game 28 days ago and gave up because it was trash, but when I saw your game jam I remade it to enter. I'm not sure if that is legal or not, so I'm sorry if it isn't.

So yeah, I made a trash game. I always knew that I couldn't actually make a good game, so when I saw this game jam in my email notifications I got to work. View the product here and rate it here.

It is the kind of insane thing you always wanted to do. Click the link right here to find out more, and maybe give it a download.

Hello everyone! I made a game. It's called Don't Die.

It's insanely hard. I bet you can't get past the third level. It really didn't take long or too much effort, but it was something to release before I start working on a huge project.

Features:

  • 20 insane levels
  • Control a smiley face running away from some crosses
  • Music that gets annoying after a while (all music by me)
  • 1980's hit detection

Here, have a link: https://gyomber.itch.io/dont-die
