Fun game, I like the idea of them being close to each other for the attack. I know you got some free assets but they fit together nicely. Great for your first game jam game. I think the sound effects like jumping starts to be annoying pretty fast. When you choose sound effects, make sure they are not too repetitive and annoying to listen too.
I like the idea, the art is awesome and its relatively fun to play. I feel like a lot more polish to menus, sounds, controls would make this way better. In conclusion good job.

The theme is not obligatory but more to guide you and give some ideas. Your game should have some Christmas spirit and inspiration too it. Remember, you can use old assets but encourage you to make new ones as part of the challenge of the game jams.
