I think I found a possible fix, if the issue is the same as one I found in the user groups for the software I'm developing in. Full transparency the engine I'm using is made to build role playing games so I'm totally hacking this whole thing to make it work :)
any pattern to the lock ups? I switch between the published version and my dev environment to try to test as much as I can but as a single developer and QA resource I know I suck.
Still fleshing the game out, item 1 for sure, open to item two but would need suggestions on how far to take it, and how it would impact gameplay. Thanks for playing!
if you are using the download version, it creates a save folder, I think you can copy your saves from here. The web version is harder and I haven’t found a consistent way to do this.
Ok I need to change when the comment about sleeping over happens however if you see the comment, you should be able to go there in the evening. This should cause your friend to ask you to stay the night, after you click on the hangout button. And my bad for not having this in the pop up but this doesnt get triggered on Mondays or Thursdays. I added a time of day hack to the cheat menu. Was this on a brand new game start, I have also been adding in new triggers on releases and this may break old saves... Sorry/..
Ok, So I still want to know what everyone thinks here but realized that with minimal effort I can make this a user option. In the next release you will find an option in the game menu, found under the menu button in the upper right side of the bar.
Right now, when you pick a location to travel to, the current system confirms this by asking a yes no question. Does everyone want this, or would everyone prefer it just take you to the location without confirming. I originally had this, as I kept click around too much and going to the wrong areas.
For some reason I missed this post, that is a brain icon, its not aligned with the rest of the game yet, need to work on this. Sorry again for the delayed response.

ah yes. sorry these are placeholders that I need to go back and fill in, I'm creating a list and working through them. Sorry solo development sounded like fun when I started :) but its taking me a lot longer to work through things.
I tried early on to post there, my characters were rendered more toon like, they didn’t like the look and basically banned me and never looked at the new version. The site manager was pretty rude and unkind.
totally busted right now :( I think there are a few combos that return a different response but it still doesn’t do anything. I’m actively working on the lab though so there should be progress here soon. Sorry for the wait!
you need to get accesss to the basement, once you have that you need to get into one of the rooms. To get into the room you need a character skill, you earn those at the coffee shop.
Thanks for the feedback, the skip chapter piece is a total mess at the moment, need to remove that option was really using it for testing and it hasn't been updated in a bit, so certain items are skipped if you use that button too soon in the game. The Ice cream parlor is on the list to be fixed, fleshed out more soon. I set up the basic coding and then got distracted by other areas of the game. Sorry I know the whole thing is a bit of a mess, trying to balance adding in more gameplay with fixed areas that need refined. I hope the game is actually playable one day :)
Sorry, the task menu needs to be fully fleshed out. I've been trying to add more to it, other parts of the game keep getting in the way. Single person team, so working through things as fast as I can, thanks for playing, I hope to have more added to the game soon.
