Thanks. It should show "press space" at the top when you try to leave the screen while dialog is active. Maybe it was too subtle and didn't catch your attention, or maybe there was some rare bug which I haven't encountered.

yeah, i agree. it was a bad idea to make it a complete dead end. i fixed it in a new version by adding a secret passage to escape the pit
