Thats the nature of indie dev's sadly, they can be unpredictable and theres usually not a deadline to meet so they can go at their own pace. I've gone through dozens of other vn's that run off the same engine hhg does but I've always found hhg to be the best quality, it's not another typical linear game where you just click the screen all day, it's a fully explorable open world with repeatables and other fun things that make it stand out from the rest. The sounds and music have an oddly nostalgic feeling to them too which is why I keep coming back to it every so often regardless of if theres an update or not

That is complete utter nonsense. I've played a couple other vn's similar to this, that had underage characters but they were simply part of the story or a side character, no lewd events or context involved with them. I've always played these NSFW games more for the storyline and character progression over any other reason, lewd events are just a bonus for me. Patreon seems to be getting worse and worse with the censorship and regulations, I won't be surprised if they eventually outright ban nsfw games entirely at some point. What a shame

This type of development takes YEARS with a huge team and a budget of millions, so the fact that one person can evolve a game like this is impressive, hence why I've never complained about it taking a long time. Some day when the game is finished, it will be worth the wait based on what I've seen over time

Check Trello, and discord. Indie dev's are unpredictable so updates could come out once a week, month, or year. Theres only 1 person developing this entire game hence why it takes time, just be patient

It is disappointing that hes not leading the development anymore, but I try to think positive and look forward to bigger updates and more story now that more people are working on it, assuming they don't drastically change the storyline and character personalities/developments

You could try playing other games, do productive things and stay busy/distracted in the meantime that's what I do. I've followed a few other dev's who also took years to release any major updates, never personally bothered me either it comes out or it doesn't, play other games in the meantime instead of getting stuck on one and getting frustrated over it

I've occasionally had the same issue when the current dialogue is too long, it overlaps the interface like that. It's been an issue for awhile not sure if the devs are aware of it or not
