Its understandable to question things after long periods of no major updates alot of people have said similar things. Over the time I've followed HHG I understand that he has changed a ton of things with chapter 1, like planning to have 7 chapters, then 4, then planned to release entire chapters at a time, then talked about releasing chapter 1 in multiple parts. Hes also gone back and redone most things multiple times because he wasn't satisfied with the end result, hes also improved massively since 2020 as far as graphics, animation, custom assets and UI and scenery goes. The whole project is a pretty ambitious learning experience for him from what I've seen, which is why I discourage others from pressuring him to rush things.

Right now as far as I'm aware he wants to put out chapter 1 as a huge update that easily doubles the overall content if not more, and then start releasing smaller updates more frequently afterwards

I can't believe how much progress has been made since the first day I discovered this game, we're already nearing the end of a major part of the story. Exciting times we're in O_o

Thats indie development for you, some are fast, some slow, some have bigger teams, some small. Remember that only 1 person is working on the project, and he goes at the pace that works best for him. If you work too much you get burned out and sometimes thats when they abandon it for good, so I hope he continues to do whichever avoids burnout, I'd love to see the game be finished someday

hes supposed to learn ALOT in chapter 1 though, so thats where ive heard he will become alot more useful

I hope you're doing well.. I had the same exact sickness that lasted 3 weeks too, I still have a lingering cough every now and then. I think a new strain of the rona is going around again.. Im really looking forward to the next huge update nonetheless :D

It's awesome how massive the updates have been lately, almost feels like alot of the game was reworked each time I play, looks like the next one is gonna continue that trend

It tends to be that way for new players, you'll get the hang of it! Remember to use the pda to your advantage to see where the girls are to avoid them better, and to help find stealable items. Usually I take off after getting a few items since the longer you stay and the more you take, the more you're at risk of getting caught and losing everything

The snowy update is free.. the entire game will always be free even when it's fully finished I think.

Tbh the majority of  nsfw vn games ive played over the years didn't have sound, I think it's pretty standard as Runey said in the past, it's not a porn game but rather more an adult vn so its mainly story focused :D

From my experience, theres an exclamation mark next to a character in the character menu when theres a new event for them, I check the doors at different times of different days and if it says * talk * or something along those lines thats how I trigger the next event.

With 0.18, this has been my 2nd time playing through, I've noticed alot of changes and more story since the last major update. I haven't felt the need to grind for money that much since after upgrading the bar that has sufficed enough for me as I pass each day. My only frustration is hitting the next great part of the story, and then find out this is the end of the story until the next update. I really cant wait for Lin's story specifically to be concluded and see what happens with the whole... spoilers im gonna stop here

See this is why I have followed HHG longer than any other game of this type for the past nearly 4 years now. Great things are worth waiting for and I've yet to see any other VN type game match the quality of HHG. I'm also excited to see more frequent updates post-chapter 1 release, I'm just wondering how big the file size is gonna be...

Personally.. I wouldn't mind just starting over especially with 0.18 being out.

Download the game, extract the rar file. There should be 3 files in the extracted folder, open Frankies FunClub exe. Adjust graphical settings in the options section to best suit your specific hardware configuration, click apply then back. Click new game in the bottom left corner of the screen, you will start out in a small room that is used as a hideout that contains a bed to save the game on the second floor, and computer to buy upgrades, and sell stolen items, hold E to interact with things. Approach the door when ready to enter the funclub and hold E.

Left click button brings up the PDA, which will be used throughout the time you're wandering the club,  use the mouse scroll wheel to scroll through different modes to see items that can be picked up, or to see the location of different girls. Explore the funclub and steal as much as possible without getting caught, all items are lost if caught. Be sure to also pay attention to the battery percentage on the PDA, as that will spark trouble if it runs out!

Press F to toggle flashlight on and off, it's pretty dark in here!

Press tab to display your inventory.

You can also use certain items and or get caught by the girls to trigger various scenes with them

It's still early development, so alot of content is being planned still. Right now the main objectives are to steal items without getting caught to sell for upgrades, and also unlock various scenes with the girls.
