Thank you! The game isn't supposed to lag, it just does on a lot of devices unfortunately :'( I think it's because of the 3d plugin that I used, now the game acts like it has high-end graphics that require a new gen gaming pc😞(not really, it's just poorly optimised and I don't know how to fix that without breaking everything 😭)

Thank you! The cloth only serves as an indication on which ending route you are on. You don't actively have to do anything with it, once you've acquired it. (If you think about one major difference between each ending you can get within the same playthrough, that's what the cloth is wrapped around) That door in the basement can't be accessed by the player during the main game, however, there is a cutscene in the bonus room of the extended edition that shows what's inside that room. No sweat if you don't want to spend any money on the bonus content, I just wanted to let you know that you're not missing out on any secrets within the base game 😊
If you're playing in browser you will need to manually save the game through the in-game menu (accessed by pressing esc on your keyboard). Also if you play a lot of rpgmaker games in browser, it may block all of the save states with other games, in which case you'll have to play the game in a different browser or download it. The downloaded version should autosave at the end of every day, although it is still better to manually save now and then. Hope this helps!
thank you! The original Ouija Sleepover was the first game I published with this account. The first game I ever made was in 2012 and that one is hidden deep within the vault haha I think Ouija was like the 6th game I ever made (the other ones were only ever published through now abandoned aliases - dw they were bad)
hmm, then the browser build might be too unstable to leave up :( I will take it down for now. If you still want to see the ending, you can download the game and use a cheat; you just need to play through the intro again (you can hold down enter to go through dialogue quickly) and then once you're in the other world interact with aiden's bookshelf, input: 6890 and you can skip right to both endings. Sorry for the inconvenience!
My apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for the feedback! While the browser version should work in most cases, sometimes loading issues occur. There is no solution that I am aware of, but since the browser build is the only way for people on mac to play the game (and the game runs fine for most players on browser) I decided to leave it up regardless. I'll add another disclaimer at the top of the description, so hopefully more players see it and choose to download the game :)
Aw, thank you so much! I've been told that Misfiction is a weak link when it comes to my titles, so I'm always happy to hear when someone doesn't share that sentiment. Misfiction always had a special place in my heart, because I think it carries a lot of the original rpgmaker era magic, more so than my other games. Also I did have ideas for a sequel that would tie in with another game of mine, but I currently have other games I am working on, so that'll have to wait.
Is this before or after the intro video plays? Both versions are the same content vise, but the downloaded version generally performs better. Also it's not a bug per se - rpg maker games shares saveslots accross broswer versions within the same broswer. I'm assuming you had a save slot in an rpg maker game called 'time is solid' which is why it's showing up in Sofia? for you :)
Hello, apologies for the late reply! I've been working on a new patch to fix some bugs that have been plaguing the game for a while and I was finally able to upload it today :) Unfortunately I couldn't figure out what could have caused the bug you ran into, however, there is now a way to skip straight to the ending (both main endings) by interacting with the bookshelf in Aiden's room and inputting '6890'. You will need to redownload the game and copy over your .rpgsave files (located in www>save) or alternatively replay to the part where you get to the otherworld - it should work from there. I wish I could offer a better solution but if you're still interested in experiencing the endings I hope you'll come to enjoy them anyway :)
