I've only died twice, but I'm still just getting the hang of the game, so I agree with you. Or maybe even a "safe mode" later down the line that respawns at a somewhat recent location/save point. Loving the game so far, but I can see myself getting pretty frustrated after so many attempts.

I thought mine was stuck at first too, but all I had to do was tap Z on my keyboard. Can't walk until you do that.
