Why didn't I see it before? Why did I let myself get tricked? Am I really just a fish in this so called "real world"? These are the questions I asked myself as I stared into the mirror after playing lure. The developers claim they made this "small" game for this past Halloween's Scream Jam 2021, but this is very questionable. I think the developers created this game in order to scare people and make them question the unknown and what lurks in the highest mountains that may be looking down at us from above. I've always had this skewed view of fishing but now that term has been altered and fishing will now be seen as some occult-fetish.
Bottom line - I loved this game lol. Keep it up, Blue Moon Games!!
Goodnight is a short (could be extremely shorter depending on your choices) horror game where the player finds themselves being forced to stop and take shelter in an abandon house in the middle of nowhere due to a sudden downpour. But should you stay? Or should you trust your senses and leave the house to battle the heavy rain outside?
I loved this game! It was so short but that didn't stop it from scaring the crap out of me! Excited to see more from SolitaryGames!
So happy to have this game featured in my 3 Scary Games #2.
Thanks for your hardwork!
Death of a Pet leaves the player in a head-scratching state. After I played the game, I replayed all the random moments in my head and I grew to like it even more than while I actually played it. Most of us have experienced the death of a love one and though it was in a very gruesome way in the game - it was pretty relatable having lost my dog myself. I enjoyed the camera angles and the graphics. The dialogue IMO was pretty hilarious. I loved this game! Welcome back and I look forward to playing more of your games!
Okiku is a short J-Horror game where the player finds themselves having to investigate their Uncle's Sake Bar & Restaurant which has been plagued by paranormal activity ever since he stole an Okiku doll in hopes of bringing luck to his establishment.
The atmosphere and environment of this game is incredible and after finishing it - I wanted more! It's short and to the point. The little doll which you need to play hide and seek with is terrifying and I found myself having to restart the game since I kept dying. But once you figure out what you need to do - the game becomes a breeze. Play this game!
Depth of Death is a short and to the point game more than likely created to test the waters on developing a game. Though it is repetitive in some aspects, it's a solid indie game and has a beautiful atmosphere to it. I would love to see this game and it's theme in a more broader sense. So much potential breathes in it.
gamedevboi is back at it again with his newest creation Versteckt. Still in the demo stage, this game provides the gamer with a nice atmosphere and brings back that good old Resident Evil vibe with not only the menu system but also it's environment taking inspiration from Resident Evil 4.I'm very excited to see the final product!
Embuscade has such a beautiful air to it and the atmosphere leaves the player wanting more. Even though it's short play-through, this game is one to remember and treasure and should be held has a gem among indie games.
