Just tested the win-netcore version and giving it the approval trough windows firewall it worked just fine... Did you try a different version maybe?
Hello, yeah, we check at the comments, unf. I'm not sure of the reason it CTD when hosting... let me try it on my system and get back to you... it was a jam project some 2-3 years ago.

Sorry! We have successfully tested the game in local and remote games, but sometimes the join button will just crash the release build :(
AFAIK you can if they are royalty free assets that are obtainable by anyone. I can't speak about paid assets or unclearly sourced assets.
