I have some assets that I made a while back. Particularly, a camera system and a character controller that I think would be great for a speed-running-focused platformer. I know premade assets are not encouraged, but would there be any consequences to using those assets? I can always make the character controller and camera system from scratch, but I'm pretty sure I'd wind up making something very similar to what I already have.

Solid game. The area under the house could definitely have been expanded a bit and I'm not sure what the purple lights were. Unless I missed some explanation, maybe the purple lights would be better if they were replaced with something more thematic. Overall a fun experience that just could have used a bit more content. I would love to see an expanded version and I'll definitely be checking out your other games!
I don't say any of this to criticize the creator as this is a pretty old game and they probably don't even look at it anymore, but more as a warning for people who stumble onto it. Do NOT play the concept version. I have well above the minimum requirements and after probably thirty minutes of slogging through the intense lag to get to the top of the mountain, it crashed my computer. It's just not optimized well at all. That said, I did download the no grass version and it was really fun and a bit nostalgic running around bob-omb battlefield. The physics and controls were damn near perfect.
Wow. That was really good. Not gonna lie, the moment I opened the game and realized it was an RPG Maker game, my expectations dropped, but as I played through, the voice acting. imagery, well thought out dialogue, and the personalized surprise that I won't spoil for other people all combined to make a really creepy amazing experience. I also appreciate that the game was short. If it had been any longer, it may have overstayed its welcome, but you ended it just before it hit that point.
