I absolutely adore the parallel narration going between the two combatants.

It seemed like a very moody reflection on how technology had failed society just as religion had previously... or perhaps it was society that failed both. An interesting way to work in the theme.

I would have loved to know some of the messages being passed between the two sides. I enjoy the sense of frustration you conveyed through the prose.

I love the hints that at least some of the robot legions are actually the creations of the God-King that are not overly pleased with their maker and have Plans.
