HELLO - so sorry - I had to attend to all the other participants first. I was so hooked onto your game - the mechanic was pretty fun and I played 4-5 rounds! I couldn't get the hard zombie on the bottom left cos it was so hard - but I enjoyed the difficulty! Physics of the ball seems to be inconsistent at time - but that's to be expected when it comes to these sorts of games. Thank you so much for making this - I hope you can polish it more!

WOW.
WOW.
WOW.

Hi guys! Thanks for making this game - I really loved the usage of language and font in this one. You perfectly captured the dynamics of an Asian family. Ironically, the oldest generation is the one that is less particular about tradition. The bugs in the text ended up entertaining me, especially as I tried to fill in the blanks HAHA

Overall I enjoyed the story and I appreciated what it captured - I can't wait to try the fully furnished version of this game!

Love the cute graphics and animation!! I interpret this as how building our country comes from helping others in whatever ways we can. Super wholesome :)

I think this accurately represents how tough the life of a hawker is. I'm always so impressed with the speed and precision they have preparing our food. How I did in this game will definitely be how i'd do on my first day being a hawker (sucking at it HAHA). Thanks for making this!! Sound and art's great! - Gwen

Yummy!! Hope that this can expand into a full Singaporean/SEA Cooking Mama version :D

OMG This game is soooo wholesome <3 I loved it! I have an older brother myself and makes me miss the times we used to hang out and go playground together. Thanks for making this!

Thanks for having us learn about the different kinds of privilege in school through this game! - Gwen

Very gripping plot and story! It can potentially be a statement about decision-making, teamwork and leadership, or more! Hope y'all can find the time to finish this :)

The setting is so random an hilarious!! lol. Yes I agree it's super challenging but the angry auntie is dope

This is really hilarious and challenging at the same time! The animations are also super fluid and the timing is great between the beats. It's quite the brain x finger twister

A+ writing. Sometimes I choose the super neutral answers just to read the responses. HAHA.

Just played this game - It has super strong Florence vibes! Love how y'all chose to tackle such a personal topic about mixed race identity.. how I interpreted the game is that there's more to identity than shared culture (in this case it's the 2 cultures), but also her relationship with her family; the fact that there's conversation with her dad brings her closer to family

I played through your game, at first I thought it's gonna be just a game about fighting off monsters but after playing and failing 3 times, this is how I interpret it:

The monsters as described, represents cyberbullying, racism and all the super negative stuff happening. You can fight them, but every time you fight them, you risk getting hurt. You can run through them, but energy is finite and eventually they will catch up to you, hurting you as well. You can rest to recuperate energy, so you can run again, but there's no way to recuperate health. TBH I love the metaphor as it represents mental energy (the energy bar) to fight off these negative news. Sometimes we just need to take a break and do a news/social media detox, then we have the energy again. If we keep fighting head on, eventually our emotional energy (the health bar) will deplete and never recover. So ultimately there are 2 ways to deal with negativity - confront/fight it head on (which is risky but eliminates the problem), or let it pass (running away, bit it's akin to sweeping it under the carpet and will still haunt you eventually)

Also loved the usage of sound!!! The introduction to the monsters using stingers really worked out.
