Thanks for getting this back online Orion!
If it's not already possible, I'd love to be able to read the RTC's time and date! Built-in support for animated PS1 Icons would also be a nice extra, since it's already possible for the mono icon.

For anyone attempting to compile the example project on Windows 11:
- Make sure to install Cygwin64, and select the "make" package during installation. (It should have the description "The GNU version of the 'make' utility.")
- You will also need to edit "compil.bat" to ensure that it directs to the correct folders. EG: The file lists "C:\cygwin\bin" by default, but you will need to change it to "C:\cygwin64\bin" — or another path, if you changed cygwin's location during installation.
12 seems to be my limit, lol. Life drain speed could be proportional to the tempo, otherwise it becomes insurmountable at slower tempos. Power drain could be paused during the cue-read phases too, otherwise you end up in situations where your power just drains to zero while you're unable to input anything.
I keep playing it, it is fun and it IS hell. I've learned I'm good at keeping tempo with quintets and okay with nonets, but heptads cause suffering
This tool is great, it's really versatile. I would love to see the mutator handle waveform offsets. Something I do often is shift the waveform offset in 45-unit increments, so I can quickly export 8 subtle variants without altering how it behaves.
Another big feature I'd love to see is being able to use WAVs as custom waveforms, like how the SNES could use looping and one-shot samples. It'd open the tool up for even more classic sound design.
