Also, how is the case with the online connection requirement on other platforms?

The concept sounds interesting and original. :-) Is this game online-only on Xbox One, or can I play it without an internet connection? Thanks in advance for your reply! :-)

I'd also recommend adding the parameter FH to show all the graphics on screen. So add the flag _ADFH after the filename.

Thank you for your prompt and informative reply.

I see your point in the "feature creep", especially with the competition restrictions. My wish was more in the category of "if it's possible", and with your justifications, I completely see why you decided not to do that.

Also, very big thank you for looking into the Grid Pix DLC, I eagerly await for the chance to play more of it. The original game was pretty much perfect, and getting the same goodiness is definetely welcome :-)

Have a nice weekend!

Occasionally playing this with a friend, this is one of the most sadistic golf games ever XD Superb extras and speech samples. The difficulty level sometimes gets unbelievably maddening, the one where you are supposes to hit the moving rocket just at the right time to make the ball bounce to the hole almost made me give up the game. Multiplayer with more than two players could be fun, but as stated here, would probably take forever to finish. The idea for various planets, obstacles and gravity differences make it more interesting though. Not perfect, but not bad either. Occasionally the ball might get stuck inside a wall, making it impossible to play further without quitting the whole planet. Some kind of ball reset option would be nice for that (no need to reset the strikes though).

One question: If I have already bought one copy of the game and would like to buy another as a gift to said friend, how can I do it here? (for digital version) EDIT: Found out the itch.io gifting system, so no problem with that anymore :-)

Very nice and interesting puzzler, especially as it's completely free! Very nice presentation considering the filesize limit. Noticeably harder than Grid Pix/Picross - before reading the instructions I had no idea how to play, and I even had to read them twice as I had missed a vital rule after first reading (the "sea areas" must be all connected). Having it in a competition named "Craptastic" doesn't really do it justice as this game certainly is not crap (although I do remember hearing that the "crappiness" of the games is not an actual measurement for the competition).

One thing that I though for possible upgrade version (not sure though how it could be applied without exceeding the filesize limit): marking the squares can feel somewhat tedious if there are many squares to be filled similarly, as you'll have to click it separately for each square. If applicable, having a system similar to Grid Pix's one would be preferable (keeping the fire button pressed and moving the joystick to fill multiple squares with the same marker). Though I know nothing about coding really and it might be that it could require extra code that wouldn't fit in.

Overall, a interesting and well-polished game that's a great way to pass time while waiting for the Grid Pix DLC levels (not that I'm suggesting anything, but... ;-) ) Thank you for creating and sharing this game!

I see your point. And, to be honest, I found it more amusing than truly insulting. But anyways, thanks for the fun calendar :-)

Played this through as a Christmas calendar (one level per day), in a similar manner Dualbyte mentioned earlier on. Was a nice way to wait for Christmas. I'll have to say though that the first two levels were insultingly easy (the first one only took 11 seconds for me, and the second 14 seconds), but they got more challenging after that, which certainly was welcome. The first two levels notwithstanding, I thought the difficulty level was about right - not a cakewalk, but not frustratingly difficult either. This was a nice puzzler, but I knew it forehand after buying and playing through the main version of the game.

Now just waiting eagerly for the DLC to arrive :-)

Happy new year!

Another happy player here. Nicely executed and appropriately challenging, but not too frustrating. The last puzzles really made me think, especially the very last one (if I remember right, it took me 40-50 minutes). Also nice to know about the free Advent calendar version, now I know what I will be doing with my TheC64 Maxi when waiting for Christmas :-)

The only thing that I would change would be the length of the game (the 100 levels are solved faster than I thought), but this is not really an issue, as the game cleverly has support for DLC content.

One question regarding that: when and where there will be some available (besides the Advent version)? Also, what will it cost? I would love to solve some more, I think this concept works even better here than on the traditional pen-and-paper format!

Thank you for this game, it is well-done and entertaining! :-)

Now you got me interested. How to unlock this "dark secret" in the game? :-D
