Thanks so much for the detailed review!

There are definitely some things here I can use to improve the game in the future. Localising a game like this is likely quite tricky since it is currently quite a small-scale game and Google Translate would certainly make many mistakes (perhaps it is possible to add a Ukrainian mode in the future!)

Designing for mobile devices is something I may look into, I haven't tried it before but it may work well with this game!

This game was written using Unity game engine in C#. The code is not currently available on GitHub however it could be if this is something that anyone would like?

Thanks again! :D

Hi, the sample sentences are generated from ChatGPT which is heavily US-centric. Hence all of the American spellings etc.

Haha! sometimes it's the simple things that get ya! maybe a future update...

I was wondering what effect a different keyboard layout had on the code... I thought it would deal with it but I guess not! thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback!

Super cool game, and very satisfying to play. This is a pretty standard clicker game but it has been made and balanced quite well!

I keep getting a little lost in the upgrade menu as each picture looks quite similar. Some more separation in these might make this more understandable. (eg having a different colour scheme for earth satellites vs long range satellites etc)

Nice little quiz, I wish I could see the answer if I get the question wrong though!

Thanks so much for the feedback!

I definitely think this game concept is very difficult and I struggled to make it easier without reducing blind accessibility. Regardless, thanks for the support :)

It seems the menu I made (sort of on autopilot) is not accessible. I will try to fix this at some point, but for now if you can get into the game I'd still appreciate any feedback!

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. I agree this game is not very fleshed out, lots more could be done with respect to gameplay and accessibility.

I've tried to address the menu issue in some other comments (I didn't get much of a chance for testing) but aside from that, I think I could have absolutely explained the controls better. I can see where you have gotten confused and I understand, I will try to fix this in the future.

Regardless, thank you for taking the time to play and review the game. It genuinely really helps me to get better at game dev :D

Thanks for the honest feedback, and I'm sorry you couldn't access my game. I was hoping a software-based screen reader would make the menus navigable. Turns out I have much more to learn about the blind community than I thought!

Given more time I would have expanded accessibility on the menus and maybe this is something I will try in the future.

(to be honest, I left the game too last minute to figure out all this stuff, which is also a lesson to me for next time!)

Understood! I was hoping a screen reader would deal with this and made the fonts as legible as I could, but I didn't have time to get a  proper voiced menu going.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks! The main menu music is not mine, it is some free cc0 stuff online but the main sounds in-game are mine.

I thought it was quite tricky myself, I think you did well to get so far haha!

Thanks so much for the feedback :D

Awesome! Glad it kinda worked out, thanks for the feedback!

Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for playing and commenting!

Wow! So cool! I've seen some light-based games like this before but this is a very unique interesting take on it. I think this has some real potential! I got a little stuck in not knowing that line of sight is blocked by other people but that's just nitpicking...

Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks so much for playing and commenting!

I see, maybe I'll try to get this working in the future (I'm a bit of a beginner). Thanks for your help!

Changed it! Not sure why it doesn't work... Unity says it should work on all 3?

Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it!

Yeah, I wish I could have figured out how to make all the menus 1 button but it was too close to the deadline and my coding skills certainly need improving for that!
