Thank you for this game. Bitter but wearily, stubbornly hopeful is exactly the tone I needed today.

I really enjoyed this uncomfortable horror experience! I'd love to have a way to hear your take on  Close to You again without playing the game-is it on Youtube or something?

I am so addicted to this.

I played this game for a handful of hours on Win 11, but when I went to load a second day, it wouldn't launch for me at all! I got as far as the dancing bard loading screen before it crashed to desktop. What I did to fix it was: backup my save data (bard_perm & bard_save) and delete it, do a fresh install (not sure if it's actually necessary), start a new game, quit, then paste my old save files over the new save that got made, replacing the two files.

My save data was stored at C:\Users\(myname)\AppData\Local\wandersong

If anyone is having the same problem, I hope this helps!

Playing this game gave me the stigmata.
