Hi, and thanks for checking in!

The page is looking good, but I think I somewhat misunderstood what you were planning for. I understood that you would be releasing the build in Russian and Ukrainian, but the page is in English.

I'm very happy to see people translating the game, as that is something I cannot do myself, and it makes the game accessible to people who might not be able to read the English version. However, I would like to retain full creative control over the English version of the game, bugs and all, and I would also prefer if the English readership wasn't split between multiple accounts.

As such, I'd like to ask you to update the page to cater to Russian and Ukrainian speakers (i.e. primarily using those languages both on the page and in the screenshots). You're welcome to add an English disclaimer directing English speakers to this page, if you like.

Sorry for not being clear on this earlier.

Oh, and I decided to add a PC/mac build of the web release on this page, as it contains typo fixes and some quality of life updates. I hope the data contained there answers all your questions regarding formatting and such in the web build.

Hi, and thanks for reaching out! I'm glad to hear that my VN resonated with you so much!

You're welcome to upload fan translations of my work on your on itch.io page (or anywhere else) as long as you credit me as the original author and do not seek to profit from it

Beautiful work, Ley!

Thank you so much!

I'm happy that you enjoyed the story, and I hope you can find some inspiration in it

Be safe! <3

Thank you so much, and I'm really glad to hear that!

Comparing where I was two years ago and where I am now, I feel like making this game also helped myself to figure some stuff out. :>

Hi! No problem! I believe a few Russian fan translations already exist, but you're welcome to make your own version, as long as you don't seek to profit from it and make sure to credit high-tea.itch.io as the author. Have a nice day!

Thank you so much!

I hope 2024 treats you good! <3

Thank you so much! I'm so happy to hear that you found my story helpful!

Hi! Thank you for the interest, but I haven't made any plans for a sequel. ^^

Hi! Thank you!

And sorry! I haven't made many web games yet.

Hey, this turned out great! The way you use the assets is both creative and technically impressive! The dialogue flows very naturally and the story has a good rhythm with a nice payoff!

Looking forward to your next submission!

Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out with such a heartfelt comment!

I've never been very good at responding to reader comments, but I wanted to say that it means a lot to me to hear that the story made such a strong impression!

 <3

Thank you so much for the beautiful comment! 💜

Yes! You can find the sequel here https://high-tea.itch.io/bear-care

Thank you so much!

And that's so awesome to hear! Best of luck to your project! ^^

Thank you!

Hi!Thanks for the comment and no need to apologize! I think this is a good place for having these kinds of conversations.

According to most recent research, there are actually multiple kinds of love! The kind of love Deer is experiencing is different from the type of love you are describing. Deer's type involves dopamine and norepinephrine and is characterized by reduced activity in the brain areas involved in critical thinking. The second type of love involves oxytocin and vasopressin and has no impact on critical thinking abilities.

In this story I wanted to talk about what's it like to experience the dopamine-fueled version of love for the first time: trying to navigate a complicated new situation while your brain is effectively being drugged.

Thank you! It's always very sweet to receive in-depth comments like this!

Thank you so much! It's super heart-warming to hear people relating to the story! <3

Thank you!

Thank you so much!

Hi! Sorry, but I can't give you an exact answer.

I don't have a lot of free time these days, and what little I do have, I try to focus on making new content. If my circumstances improve, I'd love to add mobile support to all of my games. I don't know when that will happen.

He's a dog! ^^

Thank you! I have plenty of first hand experience with queer anxiety ;D

Thank you! <3

Thank you so much for the high praise!

And thank you for the kind offer, but I want to keep my work here strictly non-commercial. Writing these short stories is a therapeutic and recreational activity for me. Seeing people enjoying them is all I need~

Thank you so much for the sweet review! <3<3

Aw, thank you!

Thank you!

Thank you very much! It took a lot of editing to get the story to a point where I was happy with it, and comments like this make me feel like it was all worth the effort. <3

Thank you so much!! <3<3

Thank you so, so much! 🙏

Thank you so much!

Thank you, Nadia! :>

Hi! I'm glad you like the game!

I modeled most of the backgrounds as 3D models and then painted over them in Photoshop.

Thank you so much! 💜

Thank you so much!

And thank you for sharing your story! I'm happy to hear that things worked out for you!

I'm glad to hear it was worth the wait! ^^

I don't have plans for a sequel right now. I think I'm going to focus on other characters and stories for a while. But if I come up with a deer shaped idea, it might turn into a sequel.

Dw, the horse is a nice boy, just a little awkward. ^^

Aw, thank you!
