I've run through twice and managed to not get shot either time, but then downloaded the updated file and that's when all the stats had been moved around and I ended up getting shot on a run that I knew was okay cuz it was a save at the very ending of a run I had just did and survived in. So I've decided to just keep playing the unpatched version until the bug from the last update is fixed.
