There are no saves in the game so it’s what may be throwing it off. In the style of early 90s games it is all password based, no battery save. 

he should appear on night two of your stay in the forest. So not on your first evening

It’s been a minute since I’ve actually played my own games haha, but there should be a hidden basement in his house(the cranky man) where you should be able to track his dark world persona. Once you take care of that you can get into his house in the real world and find the hunting rifle you need to go up the mountain to the lighthouse. Let me know if that is helpful!

I’ve had an idea for a sequel for a while now, continuing the story from the end chapter, but life keeps getting in the way, as well as other projects. I do intend to try and do a follow up that’s less linear, and more based on short adventures in the paranormal from the team. Hopefully sometime soon 🤞

I’ve been working on fixing all of the bugs and an update is coming in the next few days with all of the mentioned bugs fixed. Took a bit as I had to port the game to the newest version of gb studio, but it’s up and working so will be updating all files. Sorry it took so long but wanted to fix everything before updating the roms here. I appreciate your support and hope the new version is a good experience!
