Thanks for playing! I had a lot of fun writing the script for this one :D

It’s not free. The jam version is playable for free, but the Steam (and paid itch.io version) are incredibly improved and have way more content. If you pay $5 you get all of that, but if you don’t, you get the tiny version made in 72 hours.

I’ve been using this for a while now, and I love it! Recently, though, the website seems to be down, and the launcher no longer shows Godot versions. Do you know a fix?

I did make it that way because of the difficulty, with the intention of making an “easy rage game” (more beatable but still as hard). It does kind of make it feel watered down though.

Oh, that would be a very fun idea if I were ever to continue this. Maybe if I make a larger version (with different kinds of gameplay) I’ll add this in.

Thank you!

Thanks! I didn't have much time to tweak the wizard's behavior, but glad it worked out!

So glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks!

An updated post-jam version is definitely possible.

Thank you so much!

Very fun and very well polished! The graphics are lovely, and the upgrade system is super fun to use. The amount of information that is shown at just the start though is a bit overwhelming, and it made me assume I'd have to do a lot more thinking than I did.

Fun and simple! It's a very nice one-button game. It is a bit luck-based, which makes for a fun risk/reward system, though it may feel unfair at times since there's no cue that night is approaching and it isn't consistent. Great use of the theme!

The different was that the knives and time-stop mechanic interact and work with levels is very well done! Some levels can be almost completely skipped using knife trails while time is stopped, so maybe use a limit per-level. Aside from that, the mechanics are very fun, the puzzles are well designed, the art is great, and the reflex-based levels seem like a better fit for the mechanics to me. Good job!

Amazing! Revealing parts of the puzzle is such a fun mechanic, especially when you combine it with being able to undo (and still seeing the puzzle afterwards). The pacing is also very good. May I ask how you handle the map? Is it all always there or do you use some sort of chunk system?

Very nice! The art is very appealing. Your own bullets being dangerous to yourself leads to some interesting reflex challenges and thought about your position.

Fantastic game! The cat physics are hilarious, and you used the limitation in a fun and interesting way. The goal being to guide the cat puts a fun twist on the platforming.

Awesome time! I really should tweak the crystal's effects, but I didn't know how well it'd work, as I wanted to discourage hoarding. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks!

Thank you

Thanks! Designing interesting mechanics is my favorite part of game development.

I'll be sure to take all of this great feedback into account while working on updates! Thank you for your feedback!

Thanks for your feedback on the game design! Coming up with the right kinds of enemies for the main mechanic was a fun challenge.

Ah, it looks like there's no collision box above the arena! Whoops! I'll fix that.

That's odd, I may have introduced a bug with the jump scaling, as it should be limited to stay on screen. Sadly, slowing down the animation was the only solution for our tight time, but maybe we can whip up something for the post-jam version. Thanks for playing!

I did have more enemy designs that would require shooting and make the game more interesting, but I wasn't able to get them all in, sadly. It'll be in the post-jam update, though!

Wonderful! The story is well done, the characters are superb, and the text effects and emotion really put the bow on things!

Thank the artist!

Very nice! I like the art and the sound effects are very good. I'd like to see some more enemy variety and feedback, but the gameplay and high-score system you do have are very fun. This is amazing for a first Godot game, made in 3 days, by the way.

Very nice! The fast-paced gameplay is super enjoyable, and the visuals are super appealing. If I would change one thing, it'd be the low visibility.

The artwork, style, and overall coziness of the game is wonderful. The gameplay idea is also very nice. The only issue I'd have is that there is a lot of reading to do, but it's not a large problem.

Very well made! I love the music and ambience. The controls are a bit tricky (I couldn't make it past the first level) but you can get used to them.
