Super cool game idea, I can't imagine how long it may have taken you. I'm not too familiar with how openAI works with unity, etc, so I'm not sure if this is even doable, but it would be cool if you were able to make the voice of the NPC be your voice like how it was when you open the game (Though I imagine you would have to record yourself and create a massive word bank amongst all the other things that you would have to do).

I think including more into the scenes would be beneficial as well, but I really like what you have done so far. It's super unique.

I'm having problems loading the game on itch, so this is going to be based off memory from class. I love the concept, and everything being super trippy was enticing and super cool to look at. I like the sound design that you included into the game as well.

I would also definitely recommend expanding on the narrative, and making it so that you have to go through certain doors, unlock others, etc. It would help immerse the player more as I felt out of game and detached from the experience a lot of the time - making the game more than "this looks cool". Overall a super nice concept!

Love the game idea and it's all super neat. I think definitely making it more clear that there are things around you in the house that you can use to win the mini games (I sat there for a while confused on how to win, only to find out that you can't win during class).

I think you should definitely keep expanding on this game, even adding a computer where you can pick what type of game to play would be fun.

I think it would be beneficial to force the players into a tutorial at the start so they understand what is going on/what they have to do. I feel like you could really delve into the narrative with a tutorial and mess with the player.

As per usual I am lovvvinggg the art style and aesthetics of your game. I love the idea, it's super unique and entertaining to play. I love the narrative that was added, and the cute animation at the end of the game. I would definitely consider adding difficulty level options, where if you pick a harder mode, the camera would either move faster, making it more intense for the players, or having more obstacles.

One thing I definitely found was that I felt bored in some moments as the person I was playing it with were almost in sync and worked together quite well, so we were at the side of the map waiting to move forward for a lot of the game. I feel like different levels of difficulty could help solve this issue. As well as what was mentioned in class with the different mechanics if you ever come back on work on the game. I really like it (you should totally keep developing it!) I also love the cat at the end. Suuuper cute!!!

Really neat idea of a game. Nice sound design! One thing that I would consider to make the game more replayable is having the puzzle pieces procedurally generated inside of the maze so they spawn in different areas every time you replay. I would also consider adding enemies in the maze, player abilities, etc, to make it more interactable/challenging. Also if you could figure out a way to make the puzzle more multiplayer, or a 1v1 situation, would also benefit the player experience. I like it!

Ok first I love the aesthetic and the art style of this game, the UI, etc. It's super clean. The concept is super concise and I think you guys did a really good job at managing the scope of this game for the time that we were given. It allowed you to make a really polished/refined, fun game with a really nice art style.

I'm not sure how the spawning of the paper was set up, but after playing the game a few times, I noticed that the paper would sometimes spawn right next to where you start the game causing an instant loss without being able to touch the controls. I would also remove the button outline on the first art background layer as it shows both of them in the game (behind the button UI) and can make it look messy.

Great game though!

Love love love the art style. The characters all work super well together and I like the way that you incorporated the Demon to work with the cat and dog. The sound design for the characters is so satisfying too. I think the game could be even more cool if you expanded on it and added items that could be used, abilities for the demon, and maybe things in the environment that can harm players. Even a short animation when one of the characters die. But overall I really love this game.

This must have taken you guys forever to build an environment like this but it has paid off so so much. I really love the aesthetics of this game and how consistent it is throughout the map. It creates such an immersive game experience. I also love that the game was about cats (I love cats)

I also kept trying to use 'E' to collect the fish at the start before realizing it was based on collision. I would definitely consider allowing for E interactions to pick up items (collision can feel off putting at times depending on the fish location).

I love the lighting in the game that you guys added throughout. It elevates the experience so much.

I love this game a lot lol. When I started learning how to make games in GMS2 I made a game about an egg so it was super fun to play this haha. I love the aesthetic of this game as well as the UI and art that was made. I would definitely add an interactable in the future to make it more clear for the player what they can and can't interact with.

I'd also like to add that my instinct to play the game was by using WASD to move the player, and that it feels a bit awkward using WASD and the arrow keys at the same time. If you were to further improve the game I would maybe consider rebinding the keys, maybe W to move forward and using the mouse to direct yourself around the game, with A,S,E, mouse inputs to flip the egg and interacting with items, etc. I feel as though it would feel a lot more natural to play, as that is generally how a lot of games work. It would make it more user friendly. I love the concept of the game though !

I really really love the concept of this game. It's super fun and the player really gets immersed in the game. If you were to continue to update and enhance the game further, one thing I would recommend is definitely polishing the player movement speeds, jumps, etc, as it felt very fast paced (I know this may be your intention as you are playing as a rat) but maybe almost too fast? It would be cool if you are able to make the rat climb on walls too. I would also lower the jump height of the player too.

I really love the environment that you have created though, the lighting adds to it a lot.

thanks! im going to continue working on it and removing/adding things- this was a submission for a university assignment.

thank u. rip man.

maybe i am...

p.s. you can't win in this game. you can only suffer. have fun :)
