Minor spoilers: I died to a rather nasty encounter and got sent to the game over screen. I alt tabbed to look something up and then went back into the game. But the main menu had something different about it. I decided to explore my options and got jumpscared, so I closed the game.

Now I can't get whatever that is to trigger again, and there is absolutely no mention of this even existing in the walkthrough. Any hints on this one?

Very good work! I'm loving this so far, I've been able to replay these games without having to resort to virtual machines now.

I noticed a weird thing regarding the game's difficulty. Starting a new game on Hard seems to make the AI absolutely cracked.  They deal absurd damage and react very quickly. Changing the difficulty midgame seems to fix this. It seems like the difficulty option isn't working properly until you change it once?

I did indeed send an email to Gears for Breakfast a while back, but sadly they never replied. I knew that the world might not get featured with copyrighted assets, but that's fine either way.
