They are working on it, they have been showing new stuff on their YouTube. Everything takes time. And there's a lot of pressure on artists to live up to their own standards of quality to set for themselves.

That is a very good question, I think it was the original way of making it windowed/fullscreen, but I've since then added a pause menu that controls fullscreen mode, so it's changing the screen then instantly resetting back to whatever the pause menu was. So this is a bug.

Hey thank you very much for your reply. I agree with you that the gameplay has been slower than the rest of the game, this is due to the large sprites which take considerably longer to make and animate than other games would. This does however mean the main character and enemies have a lot of extra detail.

Those ideas are very good and there are plans for them, the recent update on my patreon has included a new "Rolling" animation, which you can use to dodge enemy attacks.
