Well that is fantastic to hear! Thank you for responding to me so quickly. I hope you didn't take any offense to my suggestions.

She looks good, and I find the idea of her firing from her hands interesting. But the issue is that now she's far easier than even her base form in the original doom. Like, sure, The Spider Mastermind wasn't a super memorable final boss, but she had a niche. Circlestrafing was the one thing that that boss didn't allow the player to do effectively, and this new Spider Mastermind is super weak to it.

And yes, I'm complaining about gameplay and challenge in the silly big butts mod. But as a fan of custom maps, where she has been used for stuff like a sniper or an area denial tool, the fact that this version of her does neither of those things well makes me disappointed. What previously held the inauspicious but important title of Strongest Hitscanner is now just four imps in an armored trenchcoat, and I find that a little boring.

And it's not like you are making the game easier deliberately through this mod. The ground pound attack you added to the cyberdemon shows to me you wanna make these bosses more bosslike, or at least more interesting.
So maybe for a simple thing, you can add a toggleable in the options menu to make the mastermind work like she did before, holding a massive minigun in her four hands or just two of them and confidently folding the others over her chest.
Or for a more complex change, maybe you can keep her projectile-throwing, but as a second phase? Have her in some mechanical suit like the og mastermind, with the overcompensating chaingun and the like, but when her health is exhausted, this og form emerges from the smoke and fire of her suit to desperately blast you down.
Or if you are invested in this change, maybe the fireballs can be led to try and catch Daisy as she runs, or even have some of them be fired irregularly to be more difficult to dodge?

Either way, I am liking the mod! It's enjoyable. But it makes me sad to see the Spider Mastermind reduced to an even less interesting boss.
