yes, the cars do have textures, however I am not sure of the polygon count.

good post, read all of it, its great. indie 3d development is difficult.

how did you implement this "stiction" thing you speak of?

the physics seem good but you need to stiffen up the suspension alot more, they're way too tailspin happy at high speeds, the traffic seem pretty impressive, and I can see potential, good luck man, love the vids.

removed that, yandere dev did the same thing, so I wont. I am open to suggestions now

it might seem a bit mean but i do have a very good reason for it, if I do take in suggestions, I will have alot of comments just going "yeah add this car that I like" or "add multipler", "add cops". "add customizable car parts", "a sticker editor".

completely disregarding any sort of merit a game might have, and isntead looking at it as if its some kind of content bag.

racing game fans suck, and I want my game to be the biggest f you imaginable to them, I have something in the works that'll do exactly that.

so yeah, if something like that makes not want to support me, so be it, was never making this game for money to begin with, and I dont wanna attract those people.

oh so 280 mph, also I figured it out, it has to do with the tire values themselves beraly 170 and now I can reach 200 with ease


EDIT: 240, the speed of the mclaren f1, finally achieved it.

did you hardcode the limitations somewhere? can I somehow bypass them? like make it 1000 rad/s instead of 500?

hi wolfe, dumb quesition but, have you ever gotten a car to get past 170 mph? 273 kph.

its sad to hear gdsim isnt going to be continued, but I am looking forward to whatever you're doing next, cant thank you enough, your thread documenting how you coded the sim helped me make a car behave like a car.
