I think you should still continue with the steam release. As others have pointed out, it would help reach a larger number of people. Unfortunately piracy is just something that comes with the territory and basically impossible to completely stamp out. I'm am glad to hear that it's doing well on itch though!

I think the page looks good! Adding the doodles is a nice touch, same with the color coding

I have no preference between first and second person, so if you end up switching I would support it. I'm surprised there aren't more IF in first person. Hope you feel better, good luck on writing!

I think there is a bug in chapter one, right before chapter two. if you pick the option "It is. But thank you for coming to my rescue", there isn't a link to continue to chapter two. I checked the other options and they work fine
