I think the run was 4 hours? give or take

game harder

so close to 1mil...

I'm glad the atmosphere comes across that way! I'm often known for writing very depressing or scary stories, and of course there's hints of that in the setting, but that just didn't feel right, considering the warmth and calm that I personally associate with Laura. I wanted a tone that was sweet and lovely, like her, for her game jam. I'm glad I captured it well.

Goodness gracious, we never noticed a single problem with the drag mechanic during development, and now it's causing problems left and right... Thank you for all the praise, though! It's always really lovely to hear.

Aww, thank you! That's such a compliment, especially considering how charming I thought The Lion Colette's art style was, thank you so much! I'm sorry you'd had trouble when playing with a controller, I suppose Dwa had forgotten to consider that - I did too, after all. If we ever come back to update this game in the future, I'll be sure to remember that!

Awww, thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it!

I, er, fell out of the level collision on a few occasions. Very fun, though. Very Monster Factory.

Such a cute game!! There's some tiling errors on the early buttons, the first dungeon's tileset is a bit clashy and hard on the eyes, and generally I feel like the difficulty curve is a bit grindy, but overall it's so charming and sweet that my minor issues with it all melted away by the end! The bosses are all really fun challenges, the story is endearing, and even though I'm in this game jam, you totally deserve to be the winner! Good luck!

Lucky you, I have a solid idea on what we could make. Feel free to add me on discord: iggytheperson#8375

These were done in a day? Then yeah, I'm willing to put trust in what you could bring to a month-long project. As long as you're able to use Godot with 2D assets, that is, I highly doubt I could make 3D assets with a level of quality that I'd be ok with showing off in a month's time.

As one may be able to tell from the title, I'm not the best at coding and, being a college student, my participation in the jam could be hampered by how slowly I code. If there's someone who's not as artistically talented but is better with game engine software, I'd love to chat and collaborate! My art portfolio is here.
