Hi! It'll be a hot minute, I have a lot of Paul and general sprite stuff to take care of before we get back (kinda) on track. I'm not sure when exactly it'll be done, but I'll be making a post when we're close to another release

'cause I haven't gotten around to drawing up most of the backgrounds, unfortunately. Putting that kinda filter thing up is just something I do to slightly mask that they're just images off of google images :V (some of them are definitely worse than others, I think)

I do plan on remaking all of the backgrounds to be more like the MC's bedroom or living room, which shouuuld get easier if something I'm planning happens

The next update is gonna be delayed on account of birthday, broken keyboard, and a hurricane (relief,  I wasn't actually hit by it but I spent days helping people recover). In order to keep things consistent, I'm moving the next update to December 1st. /o\ I'm very sorry!

If it helps, you can hit the "go again" button after seeing someone's GHole scene and skip through until you get the one you're looking for

Hey so uh. I kinda accidentally overrode the save data folder location. To make it easier to upgrade and downgrade, though, I'll be keeping the new location consistent. That said, depending on which of these you're running...

Windows: 

%APPDATA\RenPy\ "SihaiDatingSim[FREE/INTERN]-1561917752"

Macintosh:

$HOME/Library/RenPy/"SihaiDatingSim[FREE/INTERN]-1561917752"

Linux: 

$HOME/.renpy/"SihaiDatingSim[FREE/INTERN]-1561917752" 

Find that folder and move its contents into the 

"SihaiDatingSimR-1561917752" folder

If you do that, you should have your saves from the last version intact.

I apologize for the inconvenience, this sort of thing won't happen again :x

in the free version, Shen's and Jorge's routes end on July 16th at the moment. Jehu's, Paul's, and Alan's all end on the 17th. Next update will feature Shen's July 17th, then Jorge's July 17th. After that, I'll move on to the 18th for each route!

(The patreon build follows the same update structure, but with an extra three days per route. So, instead of currently ending on the 16th, it ends on the 19th!)

(There's a rather specific reason why these 5 are getting routes and why I can't just add in other characters willy-nilly. You'll have to wait and see why that is, though!)

nope, all routes are being progressed on more or less equally. Under the patreon build, each route goes the same number of days past what’s in the free version (i want to say 3 days each)

hit all the dad icon choices and it should happen the same day as the third one

i would LOVE to see Sihai translated, and especially into Chinese given how many characters are either chinese or have some sort of relation to China. 

I myself only speak a small amount of mandarin unfortunately :x i couldn’t hope to learn and translate everything, especially with how much I already have to do. 

So in the end, I’ll say- yeah, one day Sihai will get a translation. It’ll probably be when the game is finished, though, so it’ll be a long time until that gets made /o\
