Great! By the way, I think the vehicle combat rules have a lot of potential uses besides vehicle combat and chases. They could be used easily to abstract any kind of conflict (e.g. lockpicking, diplomatic bargaining, poetry contests, etc.) if the players or the GM would like to use this approach instead of solving them with a single roll. They also might add tension to a fight scene (e.g. the wizard in the party must complete the ritual to stop the evil demon from manfiesting in our world while the other players keep the cultists at bay; if the wizard fails the three attempts, we are all doomed, no matter how well the other players do!). And now I that think about it, the antagonist's special ability lists can be useful as a template for new special abilities for the PCs.
Great little game! I love seeing simpler d100 games. Still, I think adding a heading to each list of skill to clarify the 1st one is ancient/medieval, the 2nd one is contemporary and the 3rd one is futuristic/sci-fi would make it clearer. Other than that, it looks like a lot of fun in 2 simple pages.
Yes, you are right about our languages being quite close, but I am so used to reading English that it somehow seems easier for me. I am going to have a look at the Italian language Loner and see if I am able to understand enough of it to use it. And if there is a physical edition of the complete Italian version, I will consider buying it. Thanks for your reply!
Hi, Igor. I apologize for posting this here, but I tried to buy this game and when paying through Paypal I got an error message screen in itch.io. I tried a second time and got the error message screen again, but when I checked my Paypal account, I had been charged twice, but I can't download the PDF. I have written twice to itch.io support, but I haven't got any reply. Would it be possible to cancel the second charge and get the PDF? Thanks in advance!
Hi! Thanks a lot for creating this and releasing it for free! You have got a buyer for the Loner Complete book. I have a question, though. The "Make Your Protagonist" section on p. 6 says a character has 2 skills, but both examples on the next page have 3 skills each. Which one is correct? Thanks in advance.
