After doing a bit of research... 0.16.3.1 is available on here that is supposed to have fixed the issue.

Same happening here, just ignore it and play on. Edit: there is a new release on here that is supposed to fix the issue.

The game uses renpy and is stand-alone (all the files needed to run is in the archive). Assuming you downloaded the PC version, the ahitr.exe is the main executable for a 64 bit PC and the ahitr-32.exe file is for a 32 bit PC. Renpy games can also take a couple minutes to load, depending on size. Hope this information helps.
